Our Curriculum & Daily Rhythm

At Kreative Bears Preschool®, our curriculum is designed to support the whole child; socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically; through play-based, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Our approach is inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles and emphasizes hands-on exploration, creativity, early literacy and numeracy, independence, and strong relationships between children, educators, and families.

Learning Through Play

Children learn best through meaningful play, hands-on exploration, and intentional teacher-guided experiences. Our classrooms provide opportunities for:

• Language and early literacy development

• Early math and problem-solving

• Creative expression through art and music

• Social-emotional learning and cooperation

• Gross and fine motor development

• Inquiry, discovery, and sensory exploration

Individualized & Responsive Care

We recognize that every child develops at their own pace. Our educators provide individualized support, positive guidance, and nurturing relationships to help each child feel safe, confident, and engaged in learning.

For our youngest learners, care is guided by individual feeding, sleeping, and developmental needs. As children grow, educators intentionally support increasing independence, communication, self-help skills, responsibility, and problem-solving.

Building a Foundation of Lifelong Learning

As children grow, learning experiences become increasingly intentional while remaining rooted in play. Our Preschool & Pre-K program strengthens foundational skills in early literacy, numeracy, communication, self-regulation, independence, problem-solving, and collaboration.

These experiences help children build the confidence and skills needed for a successful transition to kindergarten and continued learning beyond the classroom.
